Summer, Summer, summer tiiiime. Can’t you hear it already?! JV students get ready to live their best lives all summer 2024. Here’s how they plan on living a life during their break from the books.
Traveling over the Summer Juliana Muniz in 10th grade has many plans for her vacations.
Where do you plan on traveling this summer? “ Me and my family are going on a trip to the Bahamas, after that we’re going to Cancun and we’re still thinking about going to another country but we are not sure.”
What are some things you do while Traveling? “Well when traveling somewhere tropical we take a lot of pictures , even scuba diving, which is one of my favorite activities to do while on vacation. I also want to skydive this year but I really don’t think that’s gonna be possible.”
Everyone has a Summer Bucket List. Richard Garcia grade 12 has a plan for when he graduates in a few days.
Anything you look forward to this Summer? “ Iḿ really looking forward to partying and doing and exploring things with the EMT certification that I got this year.”
What is your Summer Bucket List? “Overall, I just want to have fun before I graduate and start preparing for college. You know, facing the adult responsibilities I will face during the summer.”
Galillea de la Cruz in 11th grade is most excited for this year’s summer bucket list.
Anything you look forward to this summer? ”I’m trying to go out and make new friends and go to the beach. I’ve always liked the beach and traveling. I would love to go to South Padre or maybe even Louisiana.”
What is your Summer Bucket List? “I’m really looking forward to going out and being social, youknow, getting to know more people.”
Summer traditions are important to Viridyana Mendez in 11th grade. She tells us what she will be celebrating over the summer.
What do you celebrate over the summer? I only really celebrate my sisters and my birthday because like all of our birthdays are in each month of June, July, and August.”
What activities do you do to celebrate? “What we do to celebrate our birthdays is that we travel to Mexico and visit our grandparents for the summer. Just so that we can all be together as a family it’s more of a tradition we do now.”
