Thanksgiving At the Village

      Students of Jersey Village High School are preparing for this upcoming holiday thanksgiving all waiting for the family celebration and the whole week off! Most people can’t wait for the holiday to arrive . Frida Guia ( freshman) , Mr. Solorzano Gustavo (Teacher) have some thoughts on this holiday week 

      “I feel somewhat excited about this thanksgiving weekend since you know when won’t have school for a week “-Guia 

       Students of Jersey Village have been waiting for a week off of school with all the hard work everyone has been doing , not just them but the staff would also agree, 

       “ I think because we’ve always been in school for me either as a student or as a teacher it’s always something to look forward to not even because of what the holiday means but because it’s literally a break so it’s always nice to think about it .”- Solorzano 

        So many people throughout the break celebrate thanksgiving day on different times of the day or on just a different day .“I feel like on the day of thanksgiving or a day before you know sometimes people are really busy .”-Guia 

         On the other hand Mr.Solorzano  views things a little differently “ I actually don’t like celebrations during the day i know a lot of people do but its just so weird you celebrate then what , but when you have your dinner at night then the whole day is exciting cause its leading up to the dinner .”

   Thanksgiving is a holiday built on the base of celebrating with family and friends and giving thanks . 

    “I feel like on the day of thanksgiving or a day before you know sometimes people are really busy .”- Guia 

     All in all this upcoming holiday is one that everyone has been needing for a while and one that everyone wants.
